ISSAQUAH DANCE THEATRE is the largest facility on the Eastside offering an extensive ballet program and the highest quality of training in jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, musical theater, hip hop and tap for children and adults.
IDT is the official home of the Eastside Youth Dance Theatre, a non profit collaborative organization formed to offer our community an annual "Nutcracker" and various productions to include young dancers from all over the Seattle area and professional guest artists.
Lastly, complimenting our love of health and movement, is our affiliate business; INTEGRATIVE MOVEMENT ARTS therapeutic massage and bodywork and state of the art GYROTONIC conditioning offered not only to dancers and other athletes but to any body type or fitness capability.
Why is our name, “Dance Theatre?”
Not limiting ourselves solely to the traditions of classical ballet, dance can be classical, abstract, cutting edge, and is always expressive in itself, harmoniously performed on stage (hence, the “theatre.”). Students are educated to build strong appreciation for the culture, discipline and art of dance as well as the recreational, athletic, social aspect that comes along with a neighborhood dance studio environment.
Please visit our beautiful 5000+ square foot facilities in Issaquah, across from the Issaquah Park and Ride, just off SR 900 near the I-90 Exit 15. We offer spacious waiting areas, three large sprung floor studios to ensure the safety of our dancers, a quiet place to read and do homework in our large office, dressing rooms, 2 restrooms, a massage therapy room and retail dance supply Shoppe.

1. Your student is learning and shows improvement over the course of the school year.
2. Our staff and faculty is qualified, nurturing and positive to all students, both emotionally and physically.
3. Our facilities are clean, safe, family friendly and studios are well equipped for the safety of our students, such as our custom sprung dance floors and custom floor coverings.If for any reason, you are not satisfied due to those most important qualities of a dance studio, then we will refund your tuition. This is our promise to you!
