Young Artists For Humanity will be a club for young people to find their voices as active citizens and artists, and how the two roles can intersect. In order to facilitate a deeper understanding of how one can affect the world, participants will combine volunteerism and creativity. The group will research, discuss and decide to collaborate with one or several volunteer organizations that support such causes as: underprivileged youth, the environment, ending hunger, and animal adoption centers. In response to these experiences, students will create choreography that communicates how they have been affected by volunteering, and how they feel about their roles as citizens in the world.
